The Universities of Sunderland and Durham will host Professor Willy Maley from the University of Glasgow on the 26th January 2007 to deliver the Playboy Centenary Lecture:

'Exchanging Pleasantries with the Peasantry: Playboys, Ploughboys, Prostitutes, Protestants and Priests'

Time 5.00pm to 7.00pm.

The lecture will be introduced by Dr Alison O’Malley-Younger, University of Sunderland, and there will be a wine reception with rehearsed readings from The Playboy of the Western World. Everyone is welcome to join us for dinner afterwards.
